Events

Weevil BCM, in our attempt to make disciples who make disciples, have weekly events that seek to connect you with a biblical community that will help you to discover the things of God, and grow in your faith.

 

Encounter is our weekly worship service that meets at First Baptist here in Monticello on Tuesday evenings at 8pm. Family Groups are mix gender groups that meet during the week in a home, apartment, or campus area to study God's word, discover its intended meaning and purpose, and how to apply it to our lives. Discipleship Groups, or D-Groups, are same gender small groups that meet to study the word more intently while offering accountability and support.

 

Weevil BCM has special events such as Collegiate Week, Fall Retreat, and Lead Defend throughout the year. These are great to grow closer together as a group, connect with students in our campus ministries, all for the purpose of a growing relationship with Christ.

 

Weevil BCM also is committed to reaching the world. We offer multiple mission trip opportunities through our ministry each year as well as providing longer term opportunities to our students in connection with local churches, associations, and mission boards.
